Believe it or not, I love learning about Internet Marketing. Whilst most women would spend their money on a new pair of shoes or clothing, I’d rather buy an information product that will take my business to the next level.
And that’s good news for you. Why? Because I love to share what I’m learning with my readers.
Which brings me to what I’m about to share with you. I was listening to Eben Pagan’s Program Building a Virtual Business, and he said that the number one reason people fail online is because they fail to take ACTION.
The problem is that we’ve been hammered over the head by how easy it is to make money online. Things like “click a button”, “make money while you sleep”, and other promises of instant, easy, overnight riches scream at us from every page we read.
What happened to the old tried and tested formula for success – HARD WORK & CONSISTENT ACTION? Nowhere to be found.
We’ve lost track of the fact that in order to build a business that will provide a consistent, sustainable income for years to come, we’ve got to work hard and take action day after day.
All those marketers promising you that you can make money by putting up a site and running some software that will automate the whole process for you is lying. You can rest assured that he’s not sitting on some beach sipping a cocktail whilst his magical software rakes in money on autopilot. More than likely, he’s sitting behind his computer for several hours each day creating products and selling you false hopes and dreams.
Have you ever wondered why the constant stream of get rich quick products never ends? It’s because it doesn’t work. If these schemes worked, everybody would do it and everyone would be wealthy. But that isn’t the case.
So I want you to set aside any illusions of “overnight success” and rather focus on slow and consistent growth.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t make money online. You can. In fact, the Internet has made it easier than ever to earn a fabulous income doing what you love from the comfort of your own home. And you don’t have to spend hours each day chained to your computer. It’s possible to build a real, sustainable business that continues to grow in just three hours of sustained focus each day. The key is sustained focus.
It’s unbelievable how much time we waste each day on non-essentials. Things like reading emails, spending time on FaceBook and other social media sites or just surfing the web. You have the time you need to build your business. It’s already there, just learn to use it well.
